B.Lo Let’s Go ‘s space trap offering, “Today,” is about being present in executing your goals. Instead of seeking an opportunity, he pushes others to create their own.
His positive message also resonates with the individuals who work day in and out to make their dreams a reality.
“Today” finds B.Lo Let’s Go thinking of a master plan to elevate himself. His motivation to go and get it, however, seems to rub others the wrong way. The rapper also speaks about putting someone on and then not being as receptive to it. “How I’m gon get the money today /That be right on my mind when I wake /I won’t settle for minimum wage /Life be hard I’m just tryna be great,” he raps along with, “Said you love me why you acting strange / I was only trying to show some things / I was always tryna put on game.”
As the song continues, B. Lo Let’s Go reaffirms how he was born with a vision. Instead of looking for handouts, the New Jersey spitter works hard to become successful. “I’m taking the long route ain’t with no ass kissing,” he raps. B. Lo Let’s Go also lets it be known that his mind is only on the millions. “Wake up and think about money/Roll up two spliffs just to start up my morning.”
Elsewhere, he drops introspective lyrics about backstabbers and women who’ve caught his eye. He questions his loved one’s switched-up behavior but, at the same time, doesn’t let it phase him. “Give a fuck about burning some bridges, I’ll jump in that water and get right to swimming,” he delivers.
