A.B Slater – “Feel So Good”

The theme in A.B Slater ‘s new single “Feel So Good” focuses on confidence and going for what one wants.

Interpolating Mase’s song of the same name, the feel-good record sees A.B Slater detailing his charm and assertiveness. As he drops a line of smooth rhymes, the New York-bred talks about pulling a certain lady and having an unmatched pen game. 

“I’ll disperse your crew wit a verse or two./The baddest chick in the club wanna leave wit me.” he spits with certainty. 

In the chorus, he opens up about his attraction to a woman he’d take down if he could. 

A.B Slater sings 

“Baby why you look so good/Tell me how you look so good?”

Elsewhere, A.B Slater taunts the men who never stood a chance with his woman, saying, “It aint gotta be mine/It’s Ok if it’s leased/Take it for a joy Ride/Bring It back in one Piece/Everybody crowd around her/But she let a brother like me put mileage on her.” 

The rest of “Feel So Good” proves why the MC is on a different level than his rap peers. Guaranteeing that his action-to-word ratio is equivalent to being “live and direct, not virtual,” he exposes those hiding behind their bruised ego. 

“I’m a shine like a diamond regardless/Got free Rap smoke for whoever want it,” he raps. “I aint sugar coat Nothing, I’m being honest/That guy that they told me was fire is hot garbage.”
