The Vortex of Omar Veluz

What fire new music do you have on its way?

My next song release is “Do You Really Wanna”. It is the theme song to a horror movie. It is unlike anything I have done. That song is Industrial Rock and with extremely aggressive lyrics. The music video is also fire. It is very exciting to be releasing a song that to many will be a surprise. It is dark and strangely enough, a very scary song.

Any collabs happening currently?

At this present moment, and I am not sure if it is because of Covid, but my collabs have been at a minimal. I think the lockdown, for me, gave me the opportunity to hang out with myself a lot more than I have ever. I took this time to dig deep into my creative mind and begin to pull all the ideas that were wanting for so long to come out. I have found myself improving in ways that I didn’t imagine I would, vocally, spiritually, and emotionally.
Where are you going with your sound?

At this moment in time, I think I am experimenting with more of a Rock vibe. Do You Really Wanna is very much an industrial rock song. There is another song that I am currently demoing and hopefully will be releasing soon, it is titled “Bat Out of Hell”, which also has a strong Rock vibe to it. I am having fun with the expressive vocals that I am able to deliver in these genres. I am looking forward to hearing what everyone thinks of my developing sound.

Where do you ultimately see your music?

I see my music healing people and stopping them of any harm they were attempting to cause on themselves. My music touches on topics of light and self assurance. All my songs speak of spirituality in a manner that makes people wonder if the song knows things about life that we may have discovered yet. Even myself, being the song writer, sometimes wonder where I have mentally downloaded this information from. Even for me my songs and lyrics are healing. I would like my music to continue to save the lives of many more people. I love reading fan mail and messages saying how my music has saved their lives.

Where do you ultimately see yourself?

I see myself traveling the entire world, helping the hungry and bringing hope to children that may have lost all hope in life at a very young age.
