What has been the driving force of your career in this upcoming New Year?
The driving force this coming year is forcing myself to serve my community the way they deserve. I’ve been writing songs for years and just not doing the best job of recording and releasing them in a timely manner. So to make sure that I didn’t let another year slip by without getting the songs that have the power to walk with people out so they could do what they were made to do.

Are you planning to do anything BIG next year for your career?
There are a lot of things in the works right now that I can’t divulge just yet, but I will tell you this, that next year will be a quantum leap that to many might look like an overnight success, but I’ve been putting in the effort to get to this space for the past 10 years or more.

What adjustments have to be made in order to get to that goal?
I started being more honest with who I am and confident that God made me on purpose to do exactly what I’m doing right now and for me to shrink back, won’t serve the people I need to be. When you look at your life with purpose and know that there are people that need you to step up, the only disappointment I have will be knowing that I could have done more. So instead of waiting for things to happen, I’m going to make them happen for my current fans and future fans that need me to be the best version of me that I can be.

What personal goal have you set for yourself that you’d like others to think about too?
My big goal is to sell out Red Rocks in Colorado as a headliner because when that happens that means my music has for sure touched thousands of lives and they are all over the place. I grew up playing music outside a lot and I could not imagine a better location to spend a night with my fans celebrating the journey of life together.

Making more moves in this New Year can be really exciting, is there anything that you are nervous about when it comes to your career? How do you get over those nerves and go for what YOU want?
I’m always nervous when I play a new venue or a new event. Which for an independent growing artist, that’s pretty much all the time. The only thing that really helps calm those nerves is knowing that I’ve practiced and prepared to serve and love the people there and if I never play places that I haven’t played before its’ going to be a very short career.

What chances are you taking in 2023 when it comes to collaboration?
I’ve already set up quite a few co-writes with fellow artists that will have some releases this year and I’m always looking for more kindred spirits to create with.

Name the word of the year for 2023?

Intentionality

Setting intentions is so important especially when accomplishing your goals! How do you make sure to keep that heart and drive you have for yourself?
Reminding myself on a daily basis that I was made to do this and that to not own it means that I’m short changing my family, friends and fans. When you realize that the creative work you do is for more than just getting it off your chest it puts a really good positive pressure to show up and be intentional with every moment you have. I’m so grateful for the opportunities that I have and I don’t want to waste them.

What is happening NEXT for you?
This next year I’m releasing a brand new single every month for the entire year. I have a calendar that gives exclusive early access a week before the song releases each month as well as other cool benefits and discounts. It’s a cool way for people to stay connected with me and the music and be on the inside scoop. You can still get a 2023 Single Release Calendar on my Website.
