Lil $o$o serves up a fine line of confident-styled bars in her latest single, “Expensive Taste.” The bass-heavy playful trap beat brings attention to the rapstress’ pristine flow. 

On “Expensive Taste,” the Palm Beach-based femcee admires her high-end attributes, saying, “Slim waist/Body curvy/Lookin’ like a vase.

Lil $o$o then informs potential suitors that she doesn’t settle for anything less than she deserves. 

As the song continues, the “Florida Girl” MC talks about losing friendships and gaining accomplishments.

She also pays homage to her neighborhood. “I’m from South Florida where all we got is gators/Everyone a boss we ain’t working on no labor,” she raps. 

Elsewhere, Lil $o$o gives props to her family and day ones for always holding it down. Not to mention, she speaks about not taking sh*t from anyone because she isn’t goingback and forth with a b*tch/I ain’t Serena Williams.” Before closing the song out, she drops several braggadocious bars that affirm her low tolerance for the B.S and prominence in the hip-hop game. 

The “Expensive Taste” music video sees Lil $o$o in her most drippiest attire while sitting pretty in a Mercedes Benz. Scenes of Lil $oso outdoors and behind a red backdrop and blue backdrop also come into play. In the video, she wears a black bodysuit, Chanel dress, and black trenchcoat with shorts and a top. 

About Lil $o$o: 

Lil $o$o is a rapper and songwriter based in Palm Springs. Hailing from humble beginnings, she remains authentic to her South Florida roots. She depicts this through her lyrics, sound, and vibe. At 14, she was discovered at a West Palm Beach shopping mall by future manager Melissa Marin. As they began to work closely together, Marin introduced Lil $o$o to Grammy-nominated songwriter, record producer, and rapper LunchMoney Lewis. The hitmaker became enthralled with Lil $o$o’s show-stopping energy and focused work ethic. Following this, he signed her to his record label, Lunchbox Records.

Lil $o$o has started to make her mark on the music industry. The up-and-coming artist has released four singles accompanied by music videos – “Better Life,” “Go Ooh” featuring Bob Fishscale, “Bad Attitude,” and “Woo Tang” – off of her debut mixtape $o$o World, which was released on May 16, 2022. Since then, the 14-song compilation has been growing organically. Fan-favorites include rap songs “Flori- da Girl” and “4 for 4”, featuring Florida-based rap- per C Glizzy, and the R&B-leaning “Gangsta Love,” featuring singer-songwriter Savannah Cristina.
