Jon Crawford Holds The Jersey Crown, Reaching New Levels On Latest EP ‘Forever Yours Pack’

Jon Crawford’s latest project, ‘Forever Yours Pack,’ is a powerful continuation of his musical journey, following the success of his previous album, ‘It Is What It Is.’ This five-track EP may serve as a  preview of what’s to come in his future endeavors, just as he did with the ‘I.I.W.I.I Pack’ leading up to his album ‘It Is What It Is.’

With each album, Jon Crawford achieves a new level of clarity and invites his fans to evolve with him as he delves into the complexities of life, encompassing the good, the bad, and the ugly.

The EP commences with “Brighter Days,” offering a glimpse into a previous version of Jon circa 2021. “Here I am yet again, I ain’t even had no time to settle in”. It is safe to say that Crawford pulls out the pen and pad to deal with the rollercoaster that is life. This time, perhaps, Jon had to come back to the lab a bit too soon for his liking.  He candidly presents conflicting themes that reverberate throughout the project. On one hand, he acknowledges the love he’s shared with someone special, but just a few lines later, he asserts, “Time is money, I wouldn’t give you bitches the time of day.” This internal tug-of-war reveals the constant struggle he faces, balancing his affection for love with his relentless pursuit of a successful career. As the project unfolds, it takes listeners through a multitude of real-life situations and emotions, exposing the intricate layers of Jon Crawford’s world.

Following the introspective opening track, Jon Crawford leads into “Lost Me” featuring Young Benny, a head-bopping offering where they both question the authenticity of past relationships and ponder the emotional wounds left behind. Benny questions the legitimacy of previous women who may have claimed to be ride or die. We can assume things didn’t work out and the emotional damage cut deep. Benny quickly affirms that he’s someone you want to keep around. Again, we see the battle between relationships and career summed up nicely in Benny’s lyrics below.

“Now I’m at dinner, talkin’ business

Expensive fishes on my dishes, don’t know what this is

Two forks, one for salads, can’t tell the difference

Baby, it’s a shame you ain’t make it with us.”

Red Pill Or Blue Pill?

Which one is it Jon? Just when we think the New Jersey artist has accepted his fate as a successful artist with an unforgiving love life, the next track ‘Right Here’ is definitely a change of pace. Throughout the success, lessons, and fast life of the music industry, Crawford let’s the ladies know he’ll always be around if you need a shoulder (to put your legs on). Take a listen below.

Jon Crawford’s ‘Forever Yours Pack’ is an introspective, emotionally charged EP that offers listeners a glimpse into his complex world. With each release, Crawford continues to push the boundaries of his artistry and personal growth, challenging his fans to evolve alongside him if you want to keep up! The EP hints at an exciting future project, leaving his audience eager to see what’s next in the evolution of Jon Crawford’s musical journey.
