_09_9 – ‘Seasons Change’ & “Sunshine”

_09_9‘s production is a grand entrance to a melting pot of genres. His project, Seasons Change, transforms lofi, boom bap, and jazz into cinematic pieces. One significant detail to note is the snippets heard throughout each introduction. Some might possess more of a soul feel, while others take from classic films, TV, or just pure conversations.

Likewise, each song reflects each constant shift in nature.

Roy Beans said it best, “time will pass, and seasons will come and go.”

_09_9‘s project was released on November 18th, 2022. 

One record from the album “Sunshine” channels all the warm feels in the sunnier seasons.

The beat starts with a boundless sound bit that’s distorted before shifting to boom-bap and lofi elements.

A minute in, a guitar riff is given the spotlight and perfectly synchronizes with resounding kick-snares. They come together to create a funky version of soul, jazz, and boom bap. 

As the record comes to a close, there’s a fine line of jazz arrangements that continue the summery theme. “Sunshine” is perfect for strolls, kickbacks, or carefree moments.
