WithLoveXavier is back on the scene with a visual for “LOVE ME!” that seemingly brings together every walk of life. The proceeds from the music video will go to these charities: Black Girl Ventures, Playgrounds for Palestine, Trees New York, and NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Health). The song can be found on his LP, I’m Outside.
“LOVE ME!” is a feel-good, Afrobeat/R&B offering that finds the musician using a velvety register to express his feelings toward a special lady. By the same token, he wants to make sure that he won’t be hurt in the end. And so, he tells her how they can be great partners toward each other. Ultimately this track provides the exact vibe we need for the summer.
Using a cadence akin to Donell Jones’ in “Where I Wanna Be,” he directly tells his love interest that he hopes that what they have is real. Afterward, the This Is Fine curator explains what steps need to be taken for them to make their relationship work.
“Love me like no one does/Heaven sent from above/This love cannot be rushed/Baby please trust in me.”
As the song continues, he continues to list the things that’ll help them maintain a meaningful emotional connection with each other. Then, he speaks about how they can tend to one another’s soul, body, and mind.
“Treat me the best/Relieve my stress/Undress your dress/You Know I’m blessed/We can just cuddle, but know you want sex/Feel on your body, acting all naughty.”
The music video displays various clips made by fans from across the globe. WithLoveXavier even makes a star appearance.
He adds, “I want to be a person who inspired people to love each other and care for one another through music and actions.”
WithLoveXavier can’t recall a time where he wasn’t around music. In actuality, he’s been mesmerized by various melodies and tunes since he was young.
“Music has always been a part of my life.” he adds, “My parents surrounded me with music every day growing up. From my mom playing freestyle music in the early Sunday mornings when she was getting ready to clean the house, or when my dad used to blast heavy metal whenever his friends came over to hang, I was that kid surrounded by different genres of music.”
WithLoveXavier describes his sound as melodic, loving, and relatable. The mastery of his art stems from freestyles and building a story around it.
Carrying a plentiful of bangers, make sure to keep WithLoveXavier on your radar.
