Montreal-based artist Vox Sambou has just released a new song called “Right to Live,” which celebrates the universal right of people to live in peace.
The theme highlights the lives and legacies of two great leaders of the Pan-Africanist movement: Anténor Firmin and DR. Cheik Anta Diop. Vox‘s music is a fusion of traditional rhythms from Haiti and other Caribbean countries mixed with afrobeat, jazz, reggae, and hip-hop elements.
Vox‘s music is committed to denouncing social injustices and imbalances, making it the perfect platform to celebrate the universal right to live peacefully. As a founding member of the hip-hop collective Nomadic Massive, Vox has performed worldwide since 2008. He has three solo albums, and his most recent EP, Eritaj, was released in 2018.
