VAYDER. – “Everything Gets Killed.”

VAYDER. credits his faith for getting by in “Everything Gets Killed.”

As he fights through grief, intrusive thoughts, and everything else meant to destroy him, VAYDER. remains strong-willed. Simultaneously, the Georgia-based artist analyzes how these events have molded him. In a melodic delivery, he expresses, “It’s just me, my pole, my heart and soul/Love don’t live here no more, yes I know/Watched as flames overtook Madukes throne.”

The F***, Feelings Again creator proceeds to reflect on focus on the now, insisting that time is of the essence. He makes sure to make every second count by chasing a check.

I been taking risks, I pray I prosper/Out in the deep end, the family been eating lobster,” VAYDER. spits, “Cheddar biscuits, Red Lobster, that’s that blood money.”

Before “Everything Gets Killed” ends, the versatile musician unveils how he’s been coping with all the changes around him. Even though he leans on his vices, VAYDER can’t seem to escape the pain he’s dealing with. And so, the artist calls on Him for guidance. Elsewhere, VAYDER. speaks about a desire to revive the friends who’ve passed and get justice for those incarcerated.

He raps, “I just wish that all my dawgs had beat they felony trials/I just wish that all my heart could pump life back in my dawgs/Living free and dying old, I pray I make it that far/Got survive across my belly, I’m gone give it my all.”

In closing, “Everything Gets Killed” serves as an outlet for both VAYDER.’s artistic style and emotions. Yet, at the same time, we see the power behind having an unbreakable spirit. As he says in one line, “I been taking risks, I pray I prosper.”

“Everything Gets Killed” comes off his latest LP,  F***, Feelings Again. Sonically, the record is led by R&B elements and piano chords.
