“Therapeutic, Maddening, And Visceral” Is How Rapper, Tryfle Would Sum Up Music

Hey Tryfle! Great to have you here!

Hi, thank you for having me.

Have you celebrated any recent victories in your life? If so, tell us!

I just released the first album in my 100 song project and I’m four songs away from finishing the second. The early response has been great with people listening on multiple platforms.

If you had to sum up music in three words, which would you choose?

Therapeutic, maddening, and visceral

If you had a time machine would you choose to go back in time or visit the future?

I would go to London in 1972 and 1975 to record music with my father. During the reggae and punk explosion over there.

What is something you think everyone should experience once in their lifetime?

Getting on a plane and traveling to other countries. It seems so simple but I don’t think many people do it.

Is there a song you would like to cover? If so, what song?

“Mama said knock you out” by LL Cool J

What has been your best “pinch me” moment?

Being at the Van Gough Art museum in Amsterdam after eating two brownies

Tell us about your favorite performance in your career thus far!

The first time I performed my One man musical “Lost Rebel” at the New York comedy club. I blacked out but everyone said it was great.
