What fire new music are you working on right now?  

“Killa Swag”  is the single I just released on all streaming platforms with my homegirl Moxie. It’s doing crazy numbers right now! We are so happy with how much folks rock without our song . Please make sure you check out the official video ( link in my IG bio @denequia). It was creatively directed by my cousin @_blaquegirl she is also my hair and make-up artist. I’m currently working on a few songs & jingles for my snack line that I’ll be launching via my website www.denequia.com this  Fall. I am also writing a jingle for an up and coming podcast here in Atlanta Ga. I have a song called “The Mud” that I’ll be releasing this fall alongside my two cousins @Spoatmusic  & @seangodschild the song we’ve come together on tells our stories, the hardships , how we overcame obstacles & where we’re at now in our lives separately & collectively . I have my jingle for my snack line @randb_sweets by Boss Lady DeneQuia dropping in a few weeks & a few features from some dope artists coming early 2022 . To give insight I’m definitely stepping out of my comfort zone and venturing into different genres of music and I’m excited to let the world hear it .

What is your favorite verse on it?  

My favorite verse of mine of course! I had something I needed to get off my chest. This song allowed me to speak openly about issues or things I wouldn’t normally even make mention of or show that it may or may but have bothered me publicly.

Which song are you most meticulous about? 

Any collabs happening soon? I do have a collab I’m working on with a very dope artist . I don’t wanna speak too soon until we record it and finalize a few things but just know it’s gonna give you the R&B vibe we’ve been missing in the industry for a long time.

Dream collab? 

My dream collab is NICKI Minaj we’re both Sagittarius’ . I can only imagine how the song would turn out. I have a feeling we’d create something so uniquely vibrant it would be a “Bop” ! It’s something about her energy , word play & personality that I love.

Is there a critique you’ve gotten on your music that you worked through and it’s made the overall work better? 

Folks used to tell me to open up more and let it out . My first two projects “The Art of A Woman “ & “Therapy 365” were albums that told my story but I feel like I could have executed one or two of the songs that would have hit harder better . It’s all a learning curve and I accept all criticism and work on myself to get better .That’s why I’ve let go and now I’m just having fun with the music and it’s working. The response has been Amazing!

What are you most excited about for fans to hear? 

I’m super excited for my supporters to hear the song I’m working on with my two cousins Sean & Spoat . I feel like it would slow them to feel closer or shall I say they’d be able to truly get to know who I am as a person outside the music.

Make sure you check out my web series that I have on my YouTube Channel . I’m more than just a singer / Songwriter, I’m a content creator , actress & entrepreneur. I have to webseries and I post an episode of each once a month alongside my husband @superdad_comedy  “Cut A-Tongue “ the narrated series & “Hustle Crime Unit “. I’m also a small business owner. My family and I run @jjs_toysmore Party Rentals ( www.jjstoysmore.com) and we service the  metro Atlanta Ga area. I truly believe in having multiple streams of income leaving money, good morals & values behind for my kids is so important to my husband John and I.
