Thabos is a Sesotho noun for one who is never without joy. His goal is to create music that shows the hidden parts of humanity that aren’t often talked about, especially in Black communities.
He started making music at age 15 and since then has released over 5 projects, one being “HIS OWN: MY OWN” which took him 2 years to put together while living in a college dorm room. Thabos is far from done as well, he has plans for music and much more, all of which he will achieve.
This is a song about “contemporary love” in this generation and how it never seems to last for long. It can feel fleeting because of the number of options and sometimes easy access to those options. It can feel daunting to choose and commit. Or even because of past hurts, it can be scary to truly share one’s heart with someone else knowing that they will eventually harm it in some way. This song is not a promotion of loving only in the moment, but a reflection of Thabos doing so in his own life.
Thabos works around Hip-hop, Indie pop, Pop soul, R&B Authentic, Creative, Energetic, Meaningful lyrics, Available on Spotify, On stage experience, Strong social media presence, Supported artist, Unsigned artists, Upcoming project, & Young talents.
