Like the title implies, Tafia is prone to “Stand On Bidness.”
Commanding attention over an aggressive trap beat, the Dream Chasers rapper chats about working hard to have the finer things in life. Even though Tafia progresses, he’s always looking to multiply his dividends.
In a signature Southern flow, he raps
“I got a fetish, I like nice cars, and bust down Audemars (Phew)/The key to my success was slangin’ P’s and swipin’ cards (Phew)/I’m never satisfied, could ball today and gone tomorrow.”
Deeper into “Stand On Bidness,” Tafia taunts his haters with more wins. He also shows them how he’s a man of his word.
“How you signed to a major label still duckin’ the law? (Phew)/Bad habits, next check, I might invest in a mall (Uh)/Jab at ’em, he gon’ take your soul, send you to Mars (Phew)/Get up on my level, Tafia always raising the bar (Let’s go)/Yeah, I don’t play no games, I play wit’ money.“
The lyrics alone show that Tafia is more focused on his future than temporary memories.
In the second verse, the rapper declines to give tips on staying ten toes down. He also addresses clout chasers and elaborates on his retaliation methods.
Tafia raps, “Don’t ask me how I get through it, I get to it (Uh)/Real gangsta, I won’t ever tell it if I did do it (Shh)/Keep away from niggas that be tellin’ shit for likes (Uh)/Camera ass nigga tryna get some clout for hype (Hmm)/If I take your life, it’s for respect, not just for stripes (Phew).”
“Keep it simple, lil’ nigga, Tafia might become yo’ killer (Uh),” he also delivers. “My young niggas turn to dumb niggas for that skrilla.”
The release follows his previous single, “Can’t Let Up,” which dropped earlier this month. It mirrors the theme of working relentlessly.
