Skidoobabyy – “Heart”

Skidoobabyy‘s “Heart” gives the musician room to speak about a breakup that’s affected him tremendously. Although their split was for the best, Skidoobabyy can’t help but reminisce about their union. 

Over the melancholic trap beat, he unveils that he’d like to correct their relationship’s wrongs. Although Skidoobabyy puts efforts into repairing their soul tie, it appears forever severed. Moreover, his sweetheart has seemingly thrown in the towel. 

“I wanna make it right with you and I don’t wanna fight with you/But girl, you make it hard to waste my time with you/And I don’t wanna think about my life with you and now I’m telling you/You gotta move move move/Just get away from me faithfully,” he raps using a melodic autocroon. 

Shortly after, he spits about pushing forward but being held back by the love they once shared. He further expresses that things aren’t the same. So even though Skidoobabyy guarantees hurting her was never the intention, she isn’t echoing that same sentiment. 

“I got my hoodie on, and I’m changing up the weather/But how can I forget her with her scent up on my sweater/Makeup on my shirts cause she was crying tears forever,” he spits. “You is demon naughty/Won’t feed in shawty/You leaning on me /I don’t need it for me.” 

Skidoobabyy shared a few words about himself and music. You can read it below:

I’m from Far Rockaway, Queens. I’ve been rapping and making music since 2014 my first year in high school but I just started taking it seriously and building myself in 2019 when I saw the people around me were up too good. What inspired me to make music is the strive I see a lot of people have for their talents and hobbies and by the events that go on in my life and music is more of a dream for me ever since I was a lil kid watching drake go crazy on the TV 

My favorite track of mine honestly has gotta be “Heart” which is my first ever single I really enjoyed and successfully managed. On my EP my fav tracks are “tragedy” and “ For my n****s.”  

My favorite music video shoot honestly has to be “lost my way” aka “Tragedy” (shot by Dunc) my fav video man because the visuals in that video were just unmatched and the energy and message were so realistic 

My message when creating my music is for people who listen to be able to relate and tell themselves they felt my music and be able to change who they are and realize who they have been and unite themselves to my music as well as inspire and admire how hard I go and Strive for my talents and take they talents far as well because everyone can do what they want if they put they mind to it as I do. 

I have a big project coming up soon and it’ll be one of the biggest rap projects considering I’m really a singer aka Artist  but first I got a whole lot of tweaks and changes I gotta do to it to make it perfect before I drop this new project I been working on for a while.
