Maryland Hip-hop artist, Roc Kartel, will be releasing new single “High Road” April 2nd, 2021. Currently residing in Los Angeles, Kartel draws heavy musical influence from Michael Jackson, Dr. Dre and Bushwick Bill. “High Road” will be Kartel’s first release of 2021.

“High Road” is a tribute to himself and his musical career. Kartel sings about the hard work he has had to put in to make it to where he is today. He has good flow to his lyrics and is able to highlight his rap abilities. He has very direct delivery in his music and wastes no time to say what is on his mind which adds power to his music. The lyrics to “High Road” are inspiring, talking about creating your own success and having faith in yourself. Kartel sings about taking the high road while proving the haters wrong and becoming a successful musician.
