Rising NY Hip-Hop Artist Rowdy Man Drops ‘War Ready’ ft. QFRMBRICKS

Rising New York artists QFRMBRICKS and Rowdy Man have something to say.

We were introduced to QFRMBRICKS when we came across his 2020 EP Richh Forever. At that time, you could tell the rising NY Hip-Hop artist was still experimenting with his sound, melody, and voice. Even so, were pretty impressed by songs like ‘BADDIE’ and ‘NEW DRIP’. The beats hit hard, BRICKS was flowing, and the song structure made sense. From there, we knew that this emerging rapper had talent and something to say.

 

Meet Emerging NY Hip-Hop Artist Rowdy Man

 

Fast forward over 500 days, QFRMBRICKS and New Fire Music meet again, and this time he brought company. After doing some digging, we noticed that the 2022 NY drill influenced hip-hop single ‘WAR READY’ was not the first time Rowdy Man and BRICKS collaborated (check out the GUAPA video above). However, since the making of GUAPA, we can tell that Rowdy Man has been working on his craft tirelessly.

Rising NY hip-hop artist Rowdy Man gets the first verse on new single ‘WAR READY’ and he doesn’t disappoint. He clearly found his voice, flow, and confidence. The track is full of energy and the unique vocal sample will keep you coming back. QFRMBRICKS does what he’s used to doing, bringing a stylish verse to the track and using his voice to make the song his own. Together, they created a dope New York drill song with a ton of replay value. If these artists continue to put the work in, the sky is the limit. We caught up with BRICKS to see what he’s been up to since our last post. Here’s what he had to say.

 

It’s been over 500 days since the last time we connected. Can you believe your EP Richh Forever was that long ago?

QFRMBRICKS: Yeah not gunna lie, that’s crazy. I didn’t even know it was that long.

Specifically, how do you feel like you’ve grown musically?

QFRMBRICKS: I feel like I’ve grown a lot from where I was at 2 years ago. I’m still perfecting my craft and working on myself. So is Rowdy.

How do you feel about ‘BRICKSZN’?

QFRMBRICKS: BRICKSZN is going up right now! It took me a few months to produce that EP. Now I’m dropping singles for a while.

Do you think about how you compare to other rising NY Hip-Hop artists?

QFRMBRICKS: Nah, I don’t compare to nobody. I’m myself & Rowdy Man is himself. We coming into the game being DIFFERENT.

So far, what is your number one song of all time according to fans?

QFRMBRICKS: GUAPA did numbers but as of right now MOOD.

Let’s talk about this single ‘WAR READY’. What can you tell us about Rowdy Man?

QFRMBRICKS: My brother ROWDY MAN is an up coming artist just like me. He’s the reason I started rapping and became an artist. He was locked in with this music sh*t for years before I came in. One day he was like “bro you should do this music sh*t with me. Let’s take over and put on for our hood”. WAR READY is a different single because it’s a sample beat & I’ve never rapped over a sample beat before.

Will we be getting more music from you too together?

QFRMBRICKS: Yes a lot more music on the way from both of us together.  We locked in and plan on going crazy for the streets!

Now that you’ve been in the music business a little while, how are you going to take over the New York music scene?

QFRMBRICKS: I gotta keep grinding and dropping more visuals. I only have one music video out right now. By summer time I’m gunna have at least four out for my fans & supporters 💙. Gunna grind harder all 2022.
