On a Wednesday afternoon, we had the opportunity to sit down with the artist for a chat, delving into the intriguing story of Big Boss Vette’s emergence. From booking gigs that demanded exhausting 14-hour road trips to facing moments of doubt and nearly abandoning her music career, she experienced a rollercoaster of emotions, choosing a less conventional path to bring her vision to life.

She replied, “Life has changed, but my journey has taught me to remain grounded and humble. Everything can vanish in an instant. I always make sure to be punctual for meetings and events. It’s essential to show respect to others and never keep them waiting after they’ve booked me.”
@djayyemz: “What serves as your source of inspiration, keeping you encouraged, regardless of whether times are good or bad?”
Big Boss Vette: “Adversity, definitely. Even when I’m in a positive place, I’m always in search of motivation. Occasionally, I’ll go through my comments section and read some of the negative feedback. Strangely enough, that keeps me hungry and motivated.”
As the interview unfolded, you came to realize that with Big Boss Vette, it goes beyond just the music – there’s much more to her. While the music serves as the foundation, she emphasized that it is an introduction to who she truly is. She proved to be not only a talented musician, but also a visionary and dedicated artist with numerous aspirations and the potential to achieve them all.

Big Boss Vette: “As for my future aspirations, I aim to become a Grammy award winner one day. Additionally, I’d love to build a successful career as an actress, and who knows, perhaps even venture on a trip to the moon. The possibilities are endless, and there are no limits on how far I can go.”

And when it comes to hip pop constantly evolving, you know the saying, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it? Well, I’ll say this, In a time of peace prepare for war. Never get too comfortable.”
