Ra Moody – ” That Girl”

Ra Moody asks his better half to take a second chance on love in “That Girl.” Over the warm guitar loops and R&B arrangements, the singer intends to right his wrongs. After assuring that he’ll tend to her body, mind, and soul — Ra Moody iterates how he plans on repairing their broken relationship.

He sings, “Watering your plant/So you won’t get dry/Every love I had/Didn’t grow it died.”

It’s not like before/So I know how to love/I promise this time I won’t mess it up,” Ra Moody also sings.

Even though there are other women he can pursue, the musician has his eyes set on his sweetheart. Because of this, Ra Moody will never give up on them. Moreso, he will continue fighting for her until the end of time.

You will always be that girl/ Who I try for,” he sings in the hook.

From there, Ra Moody drops a few clever one-liners like “Superwoman/She in my comics/When I Stan Lee.” Similarly, he admits that no connection compares to theirs, saying, “I go nuts for you baby/ You my Almond Joy.” The second verse elaborates more on Ra Moody’s feelings and how much he cherishes this special lady. The artist is more than confident that they’ll reconcile soon.

And knowing her/Any minute she gon’ text me,” Ra Moody sings with, “Loved every part I grabbed you the match baby.”

Ra Moody’s “That Girl” comes just in time for Valentine’s Day. The holiday is perfect for showing your partner how much you love them or for wanting that old thing back
