Papi Grasa – “Buddy Love” (Listen)

Papi Grasa addresses the ladies who see him as a friend with desirable benefits via “Buddy Love.” The menacing trap beat shadows the musician’s feelings toward a “bae who’s just lusting.” Elsewhere, he details his undeniable charm and money-hungry mind state. 

Using a laid-back cadence, Papi Grasa truthfully leads his rhymes to everyone’s cerebral. 

“Clientele pay me they money/A switch up the subject, or add a lil substance/I was yours, no I wasn’t, a lil bitch I’m way out your budget/Tryna talk paper well let us discuss it,” he raps. 

As the song continues, the rapper calls out individuals who are all cap. Following this, he lists his standards in vices and women. Weary of settling down, Papi Grasa says he’s “forever playa.” 

“Life poker the way y’all be bluffing/If ain’t strong then you know I ain’t puffing/Gotta be bad only way she can touch me,” he spits. “Bitch tried to rush me/Lil bitch I ain’t rushing/They call me Papi/Turn nothing to something.”

He closes the song by iterating that women see him as a piece of meat. Not oblivious to these PYT’s deception, he spits 

“Just tell how it is/Don’t tell how it was. (Hell nah)/When I pull up all the hoes show me love/She think I’m a thug/They don’t really like me they just want Buddy Love.“
