Noah Singer, a South Florida singer-songwriter, uses emotive lyrics to describe how he’s been feeling about a former lover who “makes him feel at home” in his newest single “Journey.”
Clocking in at three-minutes and thirty-six seconds, “Journey” sees the musician expressing himself with a soft range as he unveils how a lover’s absence has affected him. Although Noah Singer has continued to embark on his career, he can’t help but miss what he and this woman had. But, given the context, it seems like she’s moved on for good.
“Since you got your new man I’m working hard on my new plan/To take this journey on the road/Into the places you’ll never know,” he sings.
As the song continues, Noah Singer admits why the split occurred, saying, “When you always got your way/I remember how it went/You took my money and spent every cent.” Additionally, he reminisces about the moments they spent together, making him long for their reconcile even more.
Speaking of embarking on a new journey, the crooner decided to transition from musical theater performer to recording artist.
“Once I could no longer perform, songwriting started to become a passion. And it’s a way to express how I’m feeling,” Noah Singer explains.
“Journey” is written by Noah Singer and produced by J Grooves. The lo-fi R&B offering also provides warm guitar loops, subtle kick-snares, piano loops, and electro synths.
