NateTaylorr – “Damaged”

New Jersey-based NateTaylorr is an R&B singer you’ll want to tune in real quick. Aside from his edgy approach to vulnerability, NateTaylorr’s velvety register leaves you on a whim to hear more of his work. Some would even compare his vocality to the likes of Arin Ray. Between lyrics, he explores the highs and lows of love, proving to men worldwide that it’s okay to be open with those who’ve caught their eyes. No matter the issue, NateTaylorr shows through one song at a time that communication is key.

 

His latest track “Damaged,” sees the singer reassuring a love interest that he’s not here to do any harm. He understands that she’s been hurt in the past, and he only intends to care for her. NateTaylorr believes in their relationship so much that he’s willing to put up a fight. He sings, “Either way, Ima be there/Ima stay here. Ion play fair/I’m up by the way/Yeah you know me/Ima pull up/When you need me.” Production-wise, “Damaged” carries a somber R&B beat full of harp loops, muffled drums, and a dark piano riff.
