What fire new music can you tell your new fans here about?
Well, I just released a small EP – Don’t Give Me No. So far, it’s been charting on the DJ pools across the country, so I am pretty excited! In fact, with one of the largest Southern DJ Pools – Starfleet – it just hit #1! I think it’s still climbing on the DJ Time charts, so keep a look out for it. This song is very dark feeling compared to my other singles, and of course Bimbo Jones knocked it out of the park with the remixes.
What is your favorite verse on it?
“I need more something”. That came after I had started recording the original hook. But then, I heard this line in the back of my head and though…let’s give it a try and see if it blends. I really like the way it came out, but it was one of those trial and error recordings, if you know what I mean. The entire point is getting your significant other to pay attention to you. We are so distracted by….other things going on, sometimes we forget just giving a little ‘something ‘ is just not enough. I know I need more emotionally than just something.
What were you most meticulous about on your latest song?
Keeping the vocals simple. I have a tendency to have multi layers of vocals and harmonies. I wanted this one to stand on it’s own. Pulling back the production a bit.
Any new collabs happening soon?
Oh yes! Most likely focusing on the 2nd movie though. So, more reggae, tropical house mixes.

Is there a critique you’ve gotten on your music that you worked through and it’s made the overall work better?
I have not, but I am constantly critiquing my music based on what I heard out in the land of music. I can always be better. Can’t we all?
What are you most excited about for fans to hear on the latest single?
The rawness of this single. I mean, I hope they hear it!
Give us anything else you want to know about what you’re up to?
Almost finished writing the screenplay for my second movie! I started it at the beginning of the year, so yes, 9 months later, I am almost seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. These take time, and you cannot rush it or, it will feel very rushed.
