Jxhar is an artist born in Baltimore, Maryland, and raised in Harlem, New York. Jxhar cites a diverse set of influences, including Kanye West, Gwen Stefani, Andre 3000, and Kid Cudi.

He’s evolved considerably as an artist since purchasing his first piece of equipment at sixteen years old, but the sonic aspects of his music have always come together to create a product that people relate to. Jxhar states, “I attempted to create a chill track that people could lay back and relax to. “Shooting star” really is about wanting to step away for a second and wishing on a star, god or just a higher power to give you a break”.

The thing he love is that even though the song is cheery it still has that small gloomy romantic undertone. He think this song is something not only new fans will enjoy but old ones as well and that would compare to his music style to the likes of Steve Lacy, Tyler the Creator, Smino and Syd from the Internet.
