JOZ;P “Haitian (feat. WeSingCin & The Euphony)”

JOZ;P

JOZ;P has teamed up with WeSingCin and The Euphony for his single “Haitian.” The basis of this record addresses the unmitigated injustice that their ancestors and other Haitian natives have endured. Moreover, the lyrics explore current unjust actions done towards POC. The inequality seemingly increases day by day, sad but true.

Nevertheless, these three prolific rappers will continuously raise their voice and fight for what’s right.

The instrumental in “Haitian” takes on a jazzy lo-fi form. Given this point, the beat sets the mood for this season. Going bar for bar, JOZ;P and WeSingCin expose the facade that the nation puts on full display.

Effortlessly gliding on the production, JOZ;P spits

I don’t see color nigga you see through me/Through and through stab in the back just like a black cop/Fuck a bird, fuck a blue /Wiggas getting buck shots.

WeSingCin expresses how this unfair treatment boils his blood, saying, “Rage filled/Know my vision bloody.”

Then, as the verse continues, he talks about how many individuals have tried to get a rise out of him. But it doesn’t (and will never) work. Then, the emcee opens up about the sad truth.

“The bird calls fell on death ears, black lives never mattered round here”

JOZ;P goes back on the track, declaring that we are a powerful union and no one can tear us apart. He also pays homage to Rodney King

Following this, WeSingCin drops this powerful line:

The cries of my ancestors that echoes in the wind/Never fully passing on when the work ain’t done.”

He feeds our mind with more critical points—Moreso, about Haitians and the ill-treatment they sincerely didn’t deserve.

The Euphony follows suit, concluding that she will never stop fighting for justice.

With passion, she spits:

I’ll strangle the fucking system and bury it with a shovel/Keep a weapon for the racist in the neighborhood huddle.”

She ends off her verse with groundbreaking words about her worth and people.
