ISA New Track Released – Message to the old me

ISA is an artist based in Sweden.

“Message to the old me” is about wanting to be able to talk to a younger version of yourself and what you want to tell yourself is to dare to make mistakes, lose yourself and simply not be perfect.

ISA says “If I could talk to my 15-year-old self, I would have wanted to tell her to let go, not take things and herself so seriously and try to see the beauty in what she had and not look for everything she thought was missing,” which is about the meaning behind the song.

It was written at a songwriting camp in Helsinki in the fall of 2019. It was the first time ISA met and worked with the songwriter Maiju and producer Jere from Finland and Stefan, the third songwriter, who is from England. They ended up having tremendous chemistry and the song was written in a few hours.
