Interview with Evan Russell Saffer (frontman) Makes My Blood Dance
First song of yours that comes to mind right now!
I guess Power of the Lightside. It was the first song John and I wrote together and the reason we formed the band.
What makes this song FIRE?
It’s been a live crowd favorite, still in our set 4 years later. It also has a pretty popular music video which you can see on our Youtube.com/makesmyblooddance
What project has set a FIRE to you to get done NOW?
We are heading to Austin, TX to play SXSW, that will be a big milestone for us. We are also in talks with a pretty high level producer to work on our newer material while the current unreleased record rolls out. That will kick off with the single “Together Apart” and music video.
Whose new beats that you can’t get enough of?
We all like Maneskin, 3 Days Grace, Rammstein. They all have new material out which is pretty inspiring.
What mantra do you want to repeat in this new year?
I have everything I need to overcome all obstacles today. I am prosperous, healthy and abundant.
New Year, New You, New Music! What else NEW is coming?
Allan (our drummer) is in the states from Rio and we are playing SXSW but also doing a series of photo shoots, live video recordings and lots of little videos for our Tiktok and Insta. So keep an eye on our channels for the newest and latest. Together Apart video is dropping in the next few months fo’ sho’
How are you making BIG SOUND with your next sounds?
Every new effort we make progress, but we are excited to work with our new producer who I will reveal once it’s official. Looking good right now. Will see MMBD flying to LA for a period to record in a world class studio.
How are you shaking up your career NEXT?!
All about continuing to create and jam together. We hope to be sprinkling in more live appearances as well.
