CEO Trayle and Baby Drill are truly up to no good on their latest record, “Brody Trippin.” Propelled by an eerie, bass-heavy ATL drill beat, the two rappers drop their most ruthless bars aimed at others trying their luck. Elsewhere, “Brody Trippin'” finds CEO Trayle and Baby Drill speaking about non-monogamy as they choose to stay faithful to the money instead.
CEO Trayle triggers his opps with a rhyme pattern that isn’t meant to be taken lightly. He informs these try-hards that putting someone in their place isn’t foreign.
Without a wince, he delivers, “We was collectin’ clips and guns like we goin’ to war.”
Baby Drill also shows he means business when he spits, “One touch I get him killed/I’m paranoid stay in the rear.”
The visual is just as chilling. In the Decat-directed music video, the two make a commanding presence. They antagonize their haters with power drills and top-shelf bling to reaffirm their notoriety in and out the streets.
“Brody Trippin” is a great follow-up to his song “Alter Ego 2.” Seemingly having an internal conflict, CEO Trayle resists trying to fight fire with more fire.
Last year, CEO Trayle released four projects: The Collection, Stay Dangerous, Happy Halloween C4, and HH5. Baby Drill has a project of his own called Drill Season (Extended). The 18-song project features artists like Latto and G Herbo.
