Cappuccina718 – “Hood Love”

Cappuccina718 wears her heart on her sleeve in “Hood Love.” The song is brimmed with sincere lyrics dedicated to her sweetheart. Sonically, “Hood Love” takes a nostalgic R&B approach. Rapping with precision and an energetic flow, the BX artist describes how a certain someone makes her feel. Afterward, she compares their connection as vital and indestructible.
Given the context, she’s on cloud nine because of this man’s unconditional love.
As the song continues, the rapstress says he’s the perfect package. Furthermore, he’s a sight for sore eyes. Once the forty-five-second mark comes, Cappucina718 begins to sing, using a passionate vocal range. The rest of “Hood Love” sees the artist promising to love him until the end of time. She compares their relationship to “ying/yang” and “Bonnie and Clyde.”
No matter what happens, she’ll always love him. After all, true love never dies.

I’m from Bronx.
3: How long have you been creating music?
I’ve been creating music for over 10 years.
4: What inspires you to make music?
Life experiences and things that I go through daily inspire me to make music.

My favorite songs off of the “HerStory” EP were “Thank you Lord” & “Hood Love”
6: Any influences? Musical or in general?
Mc Lyte, Queen Latifah, Big, Jay-z and Nas.

My favorite music video shoot was “Hood Love”, with me, June Drama shoot by Codered and Bossmangee.
8: What do you aim for in your overall sound? What is your message?
I want people all over the world to be free to express their selves in a creative form of music, be proud of who you are and what you been through this is your testimony. My sound is a mix of raw hip hop, r &b with a twist of soul. I can sing harmony to a Mary j bilge rhythm or rap raspy like Mc Lyte. A truly unique sound and rhythm that will take the world by storm.
