Bentley Records signee, Real Talk (The Metaphor Messiah) is a lyricist who draws from the golden era of hip-hop. His musical styling carries that oomph from the ’90s that rap enthusiasts have been looking for. Real Talk (The Metaphor Messiah) dropped his 5-track effort, My Dreams and Nightmares yesterday. The hip-hop effort is a compilation of bass-heavy, aggressive soundscapes, and old school flows. Having already prepped for the album’s release months ago, Real Talk (The Metaphor Messiah) adds,
“I like to combine the lyricism of the hip-hop legends with the bass from today’s beats. After a recent health scare, I sat back and began thinking about my life. From the struggles as a young adult to where I am today, I thought about my dreams and nightmares.”
With this in mind, Real Talk (The Metaphor Messiah) hopes to inspire the hard workers. The album’s concept focuses on Real Talk (The Metaphor Messiah) conquering through his nightmares and delving into his dreams. The lyrics also weigh in on his past, accomplishments, inner thoughts all while putting naysayers in their place.
