Yung Esckimo Lives By “The Code” In His Forthcoming LP

Yung Esckimo prides himself on being distinctive from the rest of his rap peers. The rapper’s new album, Blue Magic, mirrors that principle amidst showcasing Yung Esckimo’s riveting bars about his ascending career, influence, and sheer relentlessness.

The LP comes on the heels of his project, Maybach and Millions. This time around, Yung Esckimo describes what people have to do to get to the Maybach and Millions. Lyrically, Blue Magic holds resonating rhymes. Listening in, fans can also expect to be instilled with confidence, innerstanding, and insight on how to take the next step in their journey.

The project draws inspiration from real-life experiences and the movie American Gangster, which stars Denzel Washington. To prepare for the album, he made sure to have the right producers on deck and stayed in a great mindset. Watching American Gangster a few times also helped with the album’s process.

“I took the Blue Magic from the film because that’s what they were selling,” Yung Esckimo states. ” I felt like my music is pure like Blue Magic, so we ran with that name.”

Blue Magic will carry hits like “Money Talk” and “The Code.”

In “The Code,” Yung Esckimo raps over an aggressive trap beat and speaks about tapping into a hard work ethic to get closer to his successful endeavors. Similarly, the rapper shows how he’s all business by maneuvering through the highs and lows of breaking into the rap scene. To adhere to his lyrical excellence, Yung Esckimo delivers witty entendres and one-liners. He also forewarns his opposing forces, implying that they don’t want the smoke. Yung Esckimo tells others how they can cash in too.

Another notable thing about the song is Esckimo’s ability to make it relatable for those who always stick to the G Code. One of Yung Esckimo’s favorite lines from his latest single goes, “Feel like counting money whenever a nigga pissed off,”

“That’s what I like to do daily,” he explains. “When I got time, free time on my hands, I like to count up a couple of dollars. It inspires me.”
