Rapper Noochie and singer, Alex Vaughn are direct with their feelings toward a person they admire in “Too Grown.” Over a pristine R&B cut, the two musicians illustrate the many things they’d love to do with their better half. Noochie alludes to making things official between himself and the lady who’s caught his eye. The 28-year-old rapper also expresses why he’s different from the rest. “I usually send ’em on they way, but you can stay the night/Not no gold digger, but she know the price is right,” he spits. “And she twice and nice them other hoes just want a slice of pie/Every joint I cut off, they wanna fight the guy.”
In the rest of “Too Grown,” he details how he’d keep a smile on her face. The verse also finds Noochie explaining how intimate moments with him would go. Noochie elaborates on his feelings too. “Hours feel like minutes when I’m with you,” he delivers. “I can’t get enough/Girl, they ain’t as real as us.”
The cover art adds to the love song, which the legendary Jamel Shabazz captures. Grammy-nominated producer Chris Wright made the beat for the duo. The single is based on a love story, as Noochie and Alex are the main characters.
