Mophead – “Bigger Than Life”

Mophead‘s “Bigger Than Life” is a motivational song for the masses. Equipped with a hyperactive hip-hop beat and Mophead’s melodic technique, the nearly two-minute record is about weathering the storm. Similarly, the Oregon-based artist speaks about thunder shocking the opps. “Big Life” sees Mophead flexing about his top-tier drip and riches. When it comes to hate, Mophead looks past it because, in his words, “who are you to me?” Rather than spend money on materialistic things, the rapper only provides the best for his friends and family. “I promised the whole gangs some new fits/This is what I really live/No need to wish,” he raps.

Toward the end of “Bigger Than Life,” Mophead reiterates that nothing can stop his greatness. With sheer tenacity, he’s able to accomplish anything.

“‘Bigger Than Life’ is one of my favorite songs that I’ve made,” Mophead says. “I’m speaking truth through my lyrics.”

Mophead is a versatile artist reigning from Portland, Oregon, who’s only been making music since May of 2022. Mophead’s fuel behind the pen and pad comes from enjoying life and those around him. He’s also inspired by Juice Wrld and Trippie Redd, who, in his opinion, speak about real issues and have fun with it.

“It doesn’t matter what you’re doing,” Mophead states. “If you got the right people around you then you can conquer the world.”

Mophead’s overall theme in his music is about having a good time.

“There’s people around you to support you when times are tough, and they’re also there to enjoy the highs with you,” Mophead continues. “The more you bring out your self-confidence and positivity, the more enjoyment you get out of life. Relationships are one of the most significant constants in anyone’s life, and navigating them can be challenging but also one of the greatest pleasures.”

“Bigger Than Life” comes on the heels of his 10-track offering, 222 which dropped earlier this year.
