[NFM Artist Spotlight] – Hugo Fuego Talks “Death of Summer,” EP, Haitian Upbringing, and His Future in Music

Artist interviews are always our favorite segment! We got a chance to sit down and catch up with our boy Hugo Fuego. We sent in the heavy hitter Marvi G to get the real and unorthodox answers from the Brick City, New Jersey superstar.

Marvi is currently Fuego’s Music Artist Manager, so throughout the course of the interview, occasionally you notice the conversation shift from music business politics to a more personal and friendly home boy/home girl life check in.

This may be Hugo Fuego’s most intimate interview to date. We really get a chance to know more about the enigmatic Haitian sensation shaking up the music scene in Dirty Jerz. Fuego also tackles one of Marvi’s 60-second Freestyle challenges and bodies it! Using a compilation of instrumentals from his “Death of Summer,” EP, Fueg smoothly rhymes over the tracks giving us a sneak peak of his music creating process. Don’t sleep on Hugo Fuego Boss! One thing’s for certain, he knows how to make a HIT.
