This is another Week of the MONTH of December 2022, we are presenting our Top Artists of the Week Series 14 for your entertainment and fun. There are lessons to learn from each other as you look and listen to one another’s tracks. The selections are simply our opinion. All artists are great and super professionals in their calling.
How we select top artists.
Indeed, there are many interesting things that my job involves listening to live concerts by solo artists and ensembles whom we might showcase on a weekly series. You can learn a lot from watching their video or audio recording of course, but not everything. In fact, the most important thing you can learn from these commercial or demo recordings is that a particular musician or ensemble is probably not destined for the priority list.
In recent weeks we have found ourselves with the opportunity to hear quite a few concerts, live bands, and recorded works from different artists. It got us thinking about what criteria are we going to rank and prioritize each artist. We have narrowed it down to 3 areas: technique, interest (substance), and communication.
Technical ability is probably the least important, simply because there’s such a high level of proficiency among professional soloists and ensembles these days. Indeed, it’s probably fair to say that if you ever get the impression at a concert that a piece of music is really difficult and pushing the performer(s) to their limit, then it’s probably more a reflection on the limitations of the artist than the technical problems of a piece of music. Great performances usually transcend technical difficulties.
So, the more important question is whether a performance is interesting, meaning does it capture people’s attention, and unlocks their imagination? That comes down to choices a musician makes around musical colors and textures, variation, consistency of approach, creating tension, the overall shape of a piece, tastefulness, and context. Much of this is subjective, which is why it’s okay, indeed healthy, for people to disagree after a video, or live stage watch – whether they liked it or not.
Thirdly, there’s the issue of communication. Unlike a recording, an artist or ensemble on stage with a live audience has to acknowledge the audience is there and perform for them. Singers maybe have the advantage of words to articulate, but instrumental music is a language too, and the live concert experience is about communicating.
The most memorable concerts we have attended are those at which that communication has been strong and convincing. There are many, many musicians and ensembles across the world who deliver at the highest level. Our lives are more enriched by having exposure to them.

Taiylli is an independent singer and songwriter born in Paris. She started at a very young age with instruments such as piano and guitar, then started to sing.
She immediately fell in love with this form of artistic expression. Taiylli grew up being inspired by various artists such as Michael Jackson, Kanye west, m83, Erykah Badu, etc… She starts her career with the release of her single “you don’t know” from her debut ep “pretend”, which is now out on all streaming platforms.
“As an independent artist, you have to do almost everything by yourself, and it’s not an easy journey. It’s been a long way, and have made many mistakes. But she kept going and now she’s so proud to finally introduce her first project. 6 tracks. 1 story. 1 year of hard work to create the right songs, find the right sounds, and the right words, that would fit this project. Travis Shyn is an artist based in the USA. Travis Shyn was born on the streets of South Korea, he made a promise that if someone fed him, he would feed others. Today he has 6 adopted kids and we’re pushing every single day!
This song “Would you be my Lady“, is his Holiday/Christmas release. It’s about a relationship and the things we long for but can’t always obtain. He guesses good things are often worth waiting for. Blac Samurai is an artist based in the USA. Blac Samurai was born and raised in Chicago. Brandon Watkins took on the name Blac Samurai. A name that was created by the Wu Tang name generator. Before the name, Brandon always had a love of mixed martial arts and kung fu movies.
After hearing about Wu Tang and listening to 36 Chambers. The influence grew stronger and stronger. From movies to music. Blac Samurai music stands for freedom. A new life, creating your own world, and being yourself. Just raw and uncut feelings.
With a mixture of alternative hip-hop and soulful music. Examples of this strong influence on the sound are Tribe Called Quest, Outkast, and Wu Tang (due to the rawness and uncut feeling).
At the age of 14, Blac started writing poetry before he know it, the poetry start turning into songwriting and rap. Blac also was part of the poetry club in high school. Performing at Louder than a Bomb while in high school along with 3 other students.
As he is at 24 years of age. The influence on his music is still Wu Tang, but it also grew into other artists such as Biggie, Outkast, Tribe Called Quest, Sade, Erykah Badu, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, and more. influences even include bands such as Deftones, Nine Inch Nails, and Tool.
In 2019, Blac released his album The Soul Controller. With songs that include Brand New and Black Pearls.
J-Claud – Amongst The Star

J-Claud is an artist based in the USA. J-Claud was born and raised in Daytona Beach, FL. J-Claud is an artist like none other. He started writing music at the age of 14. J-Claud honed his skills over the years thru battles, mixtapes, and writing for other acts. He did this while being a student-athlete in high school and working part-time.
After high school, J-Claud would emerge as a solo artist. He attended college for a year, and then would later go on the road with his music, with stops in New York, Miami, Tampa, and Atlanta.
He also branched off into other areas of entertainment such as acting/modeling and event hosting. After having moved to the west coast J-Claud is on the brink of major success. With an inspiration that seems naturally limitless, J-Claud is songwriting in all genres of music. Blending his hip/hop-R&B roots with his growth as an artist, he has presented us with a new musical sound that should feel familiar. What we are witnessing is history in the making.

Nlbkingtay is an artist based in Jacksonville, North Carolina. NlbKingTay is thrilled to announce the launch of their new smartphone, “Friends”! This amazing Song will be available on Saturday, December 10, 2022, on all platforms.
A person who’s been “friend”-zoned multiple times, reaching out to others to share his story and to hope that others can relate and to show that it’s okay to be “friend” zoned/rejected. Nlbkingtay says I’m just doing this for fun and to express situations, I’ve been in hopes that others can relate in some way, but I really start doing this Cuhh when Rod wave came out, that man kicked down the doe guns blazing and the other is P&B Rock the person to allow to see things in a different way from being emotionally damaged and knowing how to cope with it.
Heartbroken tracks that people can relate but he’s looking for a bigger audience to just bob their heads n feel the same as he does but be motivated to move forward n to know they aren’t alone.

Cabrallis is a Brazilian singer-songwriter with wild dreams! Hey! I’m presenting the project of my life. My story. The album tells stories about personal discoveries that we often go through in our lives. I managed to extract and express the most basic and sensitive feelings that a human being can go through. But I leave a criticism at the end for all human beings: what have you discovered today? I hope you enjoy it!
What is Cabrallis?
Cabrallis is a project, created by the artist Giovanna Cabral, which was idealized since her childhood. The movement the world has gone through in recent years has encouraged it to expose and expose your vision in the face of chaos. In fact, Cabrallis is much more than a project, is a character with an unusual idea of transforming an era.
Musically speaking, it is a new look for the Brazilian industry with standards international. The project is designed with the aim of placing Brazil, culturally, at the top echelon of world music. With universal performances and sounds, but without leaving the Brazilian cultural richness aside.

This album deals with particular and intrinsic discoveries of human being. each track portrays each discovery according to the evolution of the being and its complexity.

The first track on the album is the presentation of “Cabrallis” to the world. It is like a course of the song, it also presents the name of some of the main tracks’ album concepts. Leaving curiosity to listeners. And even though it’s a track “promotional” of the album, there is a message and meaning behind it all.

In a sensitive way, the second track deals with the birth and discovery of the first sense that is stimulated in us, hearing.

Although The Scorchers Rocksteady Ska Band™ formed in 2017, the band’s musicians and singers each have enjoyed many years of professional performances, touring, and recording sessions. They are based in the UK.
Individual band members have toured with well-known artists and bands over the past 25 years, including performances at festivals, clubs, private parties, and corporate events in the U.K. and abroad.
The Scorchers are influenced by early Jamaican Rocksteady, Ska, and Reggae, melding these Jamaican rhythms into a fresh new sound, blending original lyrics and exceptional melodies to form a new and fresh sound – The Scorchers sound! The Scorchers Rocksteady Ska Band is releasing its debut album, ROCKSTEADY REVOLUTION, on July 15, 2022.
The album has 12 original tracks and features FREDDY NOTES on “It’s A Scorcher.” The album is fresh and adventurous, and the songs are from the heart. If you like Rocksteady, Ska, and/or Reggae, ROCKSTEADY REVOLUTION is for you. We are proud of the album and hope you enjoy it.
The album was engineered and produced by Ian Dunston and Steve Carley, with lyrics written, and music composed by Steve Carley, Ian Dunston, and John Leonel with Scorchers band members. Combined with their original songs, The Scorchers’ performances include popular vintage Rocksteady, Ska, and Reggae covers from the 60s, 70s, and 80s.
“Message from my heart” is a modern Jamaican Ska track in true Scorchers style with great lyrics and a memorable melody. Noble1BOF – My Bio

Noble1BOF is an up & coming artist straight out of South London (Brixton), with nothing but real-life experiences in his songs. Noble is not an artist you can predict what will be dropping next as a very versatile artist he refuses to be put back in a box. Noble is not an artist that is scared to delve into his past to paint the picture you will be visioning as you take in the music.
Rap, like all forms of music, is a path for expression. Noble started writing bars behind bars emulating the rappers he respected like Styles P, Drake, and Giggs. Listening to Styles P’s first album, ‘A Gangsta & A Gentlemen’ was how Noble first learned to form and shape a track.
During his final stint inside, Noble dedicated himself to writing and found himself working with the Irene Taylor Trust whilst in HMP, which gave him the opportunity to perform in prison. The fuse was lit. After his release, now an ambassador for Irene Taylor, Noble was referred to Changing Tunes, whose new National Lottery-funded record label, Red Tangent Records, was searching for artists.

Vozz is 18 years old with music to share with the world. Here to inspire the next generation with my creativity.
His real name is Michael but he goes by the artist name “Vozz“. Vozz is a young artist based in the USA. The track he is promoting is “FYA!” and it’s an energetic love house song.
It has a catchy beat with a catchy hook and a captivating rap verse. What he hopes to obtain with this campaign is more listeners all around the world (International), more followers, and have listeners learn more about the rest of my music (check out my other songs and projects as well).
Vozz would like to build a relationship with his audience if possible. If there is any way he can be given advice on how to improve as an independent artist he is certainly open to any suggestions, feedback, etc.

Something must be said about the second verse by Magnito which is wholly rapped in Hausa. As a prominent proponent for authentically Pan-African afro-fusion, he can’t communicate just how hard he bopped at that verse. There’s something about the combination of a heavy beat with local African dialect (and particularly Igbo) that seems to me to be at the very frontiers of hip-hop.
Sarkodie, Olamide, and now Jessenation and Magnito — you might call them rappers, and that they are, but they’re more than that: they’re the true pushers of the frontiers of rap. They are at the front lines.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise, seeing as Jessenation has performed on stage with Kanye West a rapper known for a lot of things, but where his catalog is concerned, for widening the conceptual scope of what a genre can accomplish. Blurring the lines, you know.

T3N PM is an artist and American Singer/Songwriter/Producer of genre less music composed for a world-listening audience. His music is connected with love, and he wanted to tie that whole concept together.
T3N PM believes there’s a point in every person’s life when they must try to figure out if what they’re feeling is unique to them or if there are others in the world who feel that way. Music helped encourage him through those times in his life, and that’s what helps him to be more confident and vulnerable in his music. Creating art is something that soothes him, and hopes his music can be soothing for others as well.
