Gareth Campbell was born and raised in Michigan. Most of the music he has released so far can be considered rock, but as he progresses in his musical journey, he has found himself crossing into other genres.
The music he writes is inspired by life experiences and those close to him, some of them very tough, others happy.

We love your new fire music! How did you come up with the concept for the song?
“The Social Media” came from everyday life. It has become something that we as a society cannot put down and for many, it maintains their success as part of their career. However necessary it may be, it can cause harm and addiction.
What is your favorite part about the song?
The favorite part about the lyrics is how relevant they are. My favorite part about the song are the vocal techniques I use as well as the rocking guitar line.
What were you most meticulous about on your latest song?
The message and making sure everyone could relate to it.
Your latest collaboration, how did this come about?
I was realizing how much of my life was being consumed with social media, but it wasn’t really adding value.
Who did what on the song?
I wrote the song with Justine Blazer and Lou Molitch. Lou thought up an amazing guitar track. Isaac Velasquez nailed the drums. Justine produced the track and added some background vocals.
What was the writing process like?
It was fun! Everyone loved the idea and because it was so relevant in all our lives, it led to some creative conversations.
What kind of mood was set in order to create the magic?
Just internally thinking about how aggravating but necessary social media is these days.
Is there a critique you’ve gotten on the single that you worked through and it’s made the overall work better?
Not on this song.
What are you most excited about for fans to hear on your latest single?
Hopefully this song resonates with all listeners. Social media can be fun, but it can also take a toll on self-esteem and mental health.
