Amy Jaime – “Secret”

Amy Jaime abides by patience when handling her lover’s heart with care in “Secret.” Over a harp-stricken pop beat, the singer/songwriter details a connection that’s only shared between them. Aware of where she stands in their life, the “Time of My Life” crooner further expresses how their hot/cold treatment affects her. 

“You made me feel empowered boy/You had me in my head for hours/Now you get me here feeling really, really sour,” she sings. 

The following few lines find Amy Jaime going the distance for her sweetheart. Even when he’s distant, the singer sticks by his side. Determined to make it work between the two, she sings

“I know it’s been a couple days you haven’t hit me up/I’m wondering where you are/I might just drive around the block/I drive around for hours kept on lookin’ at the clock.” 

Before “Secret” ends, Amy Jaime iterates why they’d be a perfect pair. 

“I kept you up on lockdown/I hope you can devour/Every single hour I had you after-hours/I had you mkitchen cookin’ up for hours,” she sings. 

“Secrets” comes on the heels of “1800 PICKUP CALL.”
