Ivey Amour – “Streets”

Ivey Amour

Ivey Amour addresses her lover’s wishy-washy devotion in “Streets.” Matching the calming R&B beats aura with a silky range, Ivey Amour lets him know that their time together is finished. But, if this former flame questions their separation, Amour has detailed why they won’t work out. She’s put her heart into this 100% while he rarely gave their union 50%.

One minute you say you love me/The next minute you’re ice cold (ice cold)/I know you only hit me up/When you need someone to hold.”

Fed up with his confusing behavior, Ivey Amour declares that she’s moving on. The songstress wants nothing to do with his mind games.

She croons, “Whatever we had/Means nothing to me/I’m actually glad/Cause I’m finally free/You got some nerve/Interrupting my peace/This is goodbye/Now head back to them streets.”

As the song continues, Ivey Amour asks her previous half to leave her be. Instead, she’s making efforts to heal on her own. Following this, the “Dimension” singer demands that he cut off all communication with her. Overall, “Streets” displays what occurs when you take things for granted.

I know you miss me but/You gotta leave me alone/I’m not playing games,” she sings. “Don’t show up at my door/Don’t comment on my pictures/And don’t call me no more/Come on boy you had your chance/It’s too late to be a man.”
