Da Twin Prince – “Body On”

Da Twin Prince

Da Twin Prince questions a lover’s intentions in “Body On.” Unsure of how he should view their intimate moments, the rapper uses a seamless flow to express that he’s in this for the long haul. Whether their relationship is casual or serious, Da Twin Prince can’t help but yearn for her love.

Over the lush R&B beat, he raps, “Soul is mine for taking/Swallow the love or the lust/Whichever one imma take in/Let’s not complicate this.”

In the first verse, the “I’m Wit It” rapper compliments his sweetheart before getting into the nitty-gritty of their sensual moments. Their strong connection between the sheets makes him question if there’s more to explore here.

We be in our feelings/Making love/Can we call it this (we can call it this),” he raps. The verse continues with Da Twin Prince dropping words of appreciation toward this lady who looks like “water from three-pointer.” He plans on tending to both her body and soul.

As the second verse comes in, the New York-based lyricist states that their chemistry is undeniable. Following this, he lists the ways he’ll keep her happy. If they end up together, the musician promises to be her peace and stress reliever.

He raps lines like “I’m a gentleman/But tend to get rough in the bedroom,” and “You cry tears of pleasure/Afterwards I buy you flowers.”

“Body On” ends with Da Twin Prince listing the places they can love each other deeply.

He spits, “Catching feelings and flights/Packing bags taking trips/Bathroom counter or the shower/That’s my favorite station (favorite station)/On the balcony in ATL or LA/On vacation take ya.”
