Rapid FIRE QUESTIONS: 

First song of yours that comes to mind right now!

Edem: A new song we have slated for release in the next few weeks. Can’t disclose the title, don’t want to ruin the surprise.

Brett: Same. We always focus on our current project. That way we keep our creative energies moving forward.

What makes this song FIRE?

Edem: Ha, great question! This song had its own journey. Brett and I were asked to create a 7 part opus for our voice, and celebrated Croatian fine artist, Sandra Ban last year. The works we create together will accompany a fine art performance she has scheduled for this year. This upcoming piece was the first we cracked, but took a back seat to another section, which became “Yes”, our most recent release. Anyway, we revisited the song in question at the end of last year, and it grew by itself, literally “telling us” what it needed. It has transcended our expectations completely. It’s phenomenal. We love when a song takes on a life of it’s own. With it, we are embarking on new musical territory, which is why we’ll wait to properly announce it when it’s ready. Already Sandra’s favorite piece to date.

Brett: The fact that there’s no one (or company) pushing us to get it done is glorious. Freedom is a punk philosophy.

What project has set a FIRE to you to get done NOW?

Edem: Sandra’s project, the 7 part opus. The pieces, pardon the pun, are literally falling into place. All of them could, and probably will, become stand alone singles- as “Yes” did. We’re fired up right now for sure.

Brett: We’re always working on multiple projects. We generally like to let the music carry us forward rather than the other way around, and we’re enjoying the ride.

Whose new beats that you can’t get enough of?

Edem: My son’s Beats. Amazing cans!

Brett: Our own beats.

What mantra do you want to repeat in this new year?

Edem: Anything is possible; keep on following where the music takes us; enjoy the journey and celebrate it.

Brett: Not repeating anything musically.

New Year, New You, New Music! What else NEW is coming?

Edem: New opportunities! Fresh outlook! New musical genres!

Brett: Expect to hear some new music from KinderCrowdControl this year.

How are you making BIG SOUND with your next sounds?

Edem: It’s all about approach and production concepts. And the song concept. KinderCrowdControl music is primarily conceptual, so we’re concerned with propagating a concept/idea through beautiful, original, music. Unique and new is always big. Brett, Sandra, and I are so excited about the impact KinderCrowdControl music is making. That’s big too.

Brett: Big is determined by the individual. What makes big big? We’re unique, and that’s what’s big to us.

How are you shaking up your career NEXT?!

Edem: Since we’re always reaching beyond our comfort levels, shaking up is not necessary. The music is taking us along on an ongoing, amazing journey. We’re as excited as everyone else.

Brett: By doing what we’ve always done. Create, collaborate, record, repeat.
