‘WAKE UP AND GET IT’ WITH SYDNEY RANEÉ

What fire new music can you tell your new fans here about?

Well I have a new single dropping in January called “Wake Up and Get It” as well as an EP dropping after that. The song talks about overcoming doubt and depression.

What is your favorite verse on it?
Actually my favorite part of the song is the chorus. “Some days I’ve gotta wake up and get it. When I get low I’ve got to stay committed. Pull through. I know I’m close to being finished. Some days I’ve gotta wake up and get it.”

What were you most meticulous about on your latest song?

I was most meticulous about the overall sound of my last record. There are so many different and exciting things happening in music today and I want my music to stand out on it’s own.

Any new collabs happening soon?

Not at the moment but I am definitely open to new collabs.

Dream collab?

My dream collab would be with Raphael Saadiq or Pharrell. I respect them so much as producers and also as amazing artists.
Is there a critique you’ve gotten on your music that you worked through and it’s made the overall work better?

My favorite critique that I’ve received would definitely have to be about consistency. In the past I was releasing music without any game plan or schedule. I was all over the place and it definitely reflected in my numbers. Since then I’ve started creating release plans and working on building up my catalogue.

What are you most excited about for fans to hear on your latest single?

My latest single is titled “One Night Only” and it has a 90’s vibe to it. I hope that fans can connect to it and that it makes them feel good.

Give us anything else you want to know about what you’re up to?

Like I said earlier I am in the process of releasing a new ep. It’s a four song project titled “Wake Up and Get It”
