What fire new music can you tell your new fans here about?
“Back to You” is my latest single that I just released last month on 10/21! It’s a new pop ballad I recorded straight from my apartment studio and is available on all digital platforms! It has almost half a million views and youtube and can’t wait for it to keep growing! This song truly holds a special place in my heart and I am so excited I get to share it with others!
What is your favorite verse on it?
The Pre-chorus of the song is my favorite!
“I want you to know
That I’ve been holding on to you
And when the world goes dark
You’re the light that gets me through”
What were you most meticulous about on your latest song?
I was really meticulous about the vocal production for this song. I really wanted a lot of harmonies layered in the vocals to make the melody pop. I spent a good amount of time trying different harmonies and ad-libs to make sure it complemented the song in the best way.
Any new collabs happening soon?
Yes! I am super excited to work on my next song with a great friend and latin pop artist Kayson Luis who was on NBC’s “La Voz!”
Dream collab?
I have so many but if I had to decide I would say, Selena( if she was still alive) or Adele!
Is there a critique you’ve gotten on your music that you worked through and it’s made the overall work better?
I have gotten critiques on my writing which I work on everyday to improve. Although my lyrics are very genuine, I really needed to find a better way to express the meaning I am trying to convey through the lyrics that has not been overused or said before on other songs. I am happy for this critique since it has really inspired me to go the extra mile and think outside of the box when it comes to my writing.
What are you most excited about for fans to hear on your latest single?
I am excited for them to hear the amazing vocals on “Back to You” . I worked super hard on nailing the vocals and I think it truly showcases my range and vocal style out of all my other music.
Give us anything else you want to know about what you’re up to?
I am doing a lot of acting and theater projects and hopefully will be in an off broadway show soon next year 2022!
