Single Review: Beautiful Thieves Releases New Single “The Rise of Gorilla City”

Afro House group, Beautiful Thieves have released a new single, “The Rise of Gorilla City,” which was released July 16th, 2021. “The Rise of Gorilla City” was written and produced by Wheeler del Torro and features Beautiful Thieves, Kool Kieth, Nxumalo Fortune and Sidney Washington.

“The Rise of Gorilla City” is a fast tempo, upbeat dance track with lots of energy! The beat is hype, it’s strong and it has great build up, all essentials for a good EDM type dance track. You can even sense a little soul in this “Afro House” track, especially with the various samples/commentaries that are interwoven throughout the song. I can definitely see this being a great club or dancing song or something to listen to in the gym or when you are trying to get some energy going and build a hype environment.
