Single Review: Pop-Rock Musician, Maro DeLo Releases New Single “Find Your Own Way”

Pop-Rock singer/songwriter, Maro DeLo, is set to release a new single called “Find Your Own Way” on June 4th 2021. This will be DeLo’s third single release of 2021. Originally from New York, Maro DeLo was introduced to music at a very young age, having two very creative parents. He joined his first band at the age of 10 and never looked back. Maro DeLo’s inspiration draws from rock and blues music, which has led him to choose the guitar as his primary instrument.

“Find Your Own Way” starts with a cool guitar riff that progresses and repeats throughout the whole song. DeLo then begins his vocals that are very pop oriented with a very catchy chorus that makes the listener want to sing along. The lyrics are simple but fit perfectly with the flow of the song and give it that pop-rock feeling. The drumming is energetic and carries a good beat to help support the background guitar playing. Maro has a good guitar solo towards the end of the track that gives us a sample of his guitar playing abilities. Utilizing classic blues guitar techniques with some bends, pull-offs and having the solo go in and out with vocals in between all of which are typical characteristics of blues playing; this just shows his inspirations from different genres.
