Kingant – Pain I Been Through

‘Pain I Been Through’ Out Now!

After a hiatus for over a year, Kingant is back with some heat! The last time we heard from the Florida-born artist was on ‘Thug Scars‘, released in early 2020, now approaching 50K streams on SoundCloud. The emerging artist has been on our radar for some time now and we’re happy he’s made his return. Kingant is the type of artist that lays everything out on the track; the good, the bad, and the ugly. If there’s one thing you’ll get from Kingant on his songs… it’s honesty. Kingant shares his life experiences with his listeners, and those who can relate to the lifestyle keep his music on repeat.

Before we get in to the track, I’m sure you want to get to know the man behind the music. After all, we want to relate to those we listen to, right? Check out his responses below to learn more about the emerging artist.

Q: Who is Kingant?

A: Kingant is a 19 year old self taught artist.

Q: Where are you from?

A: I’m from Broward County, Florida (Hollywood, FL). I was raised in Broward, Atlanta, GA & Palm Beach County.

Q: How long have you been making music, and how have you improved since the beginning?

A: I’ve been making music since 2019. I’ve improved since then by learning how to engineer myself, learning what my voice really is, and how much it will develop.

Q: How has the last year been for you? Did you learn anything about yourself?

A: The last year for me has been a roller coaster, I lost close friendships with people I thought was there for life. I also lost 2 friends 7 months apart. Both got murdered & that really took a toll on my life, but I gotta keep pushing and live for them. Besides that I been focused on myself and networking in Atlanta.

Q: How hype are you to start dropping music again?

A: I’m mad hype to start dropping again, I haven’t dropped in over a year because I wanted to be more consistent with music. I learned how to engineer myself & been running with it since then so lot’s of music will be coming!

Q: Why do you think people will enjoy ‘Pain I Been Through’?

A: I think they’ll enjoy it because its a new melodic sound that’s gonna keep growing as I evolve as an artist and I actually have a message in the song speaking about how people left me in my life.

Q: How has ‘pain’ made you who you are today?

A: The pain, the pain is something I been baring my whole life but really just started realizing last year. I done been through so much in the last 7 months alone and the music is what keeps me going. Pain makes it easier to actually talk about something.

At just 19 years old, we can tell Kingant takes his career very seriously. He took over a year off to become a better song maker and even started engineering himself. Like some of our favorite hip-hop acts right now (Lil Durk, Lil Baby, Young Thug, etc.), Kingant recognizes that his voice is an instrument that he must keep developing. The music will only get better from here, and his latest single is the beginning of a new journey.

Driven by some unfortunate tragedies and other life events, Kingant lets it all out on his new single ‘Pain I Been Through’. He talks about former close friends no longer in the picture, dream chasing through ups and downs, and showing love ultimately to receive nothing back. Outside of his relatable bars, Kingant has a unique understanding of melody. The emerging artist uses his voice strategically throughout the track to add to the emotion of his lyrics. Ant shouts out his brothers no longer with us and behind bars, while hoping that better days are around the corner. Expressing these wounds through music will not only help Kingant get through the pain, but also encourage listeners to address their personal battles and take things one day at a time.

Looking Ahead

Q: What can we expect from Kingant for the rest of 2021 and beyond?

A: In 2021 you can expect multiple singles all with visuals just so I can grow my name & promote as much as possible. Some time early 2022, I’ll release a project to show how much work I’ve put in to learning myself as an artist. These next 6 months is real personal for me. I’m coming hard with all of this because I know this is the life I want. All gas, no brakes with it! I’m going all in, I promise everyone is going to know who Kingant is.

Q: What do you have to say to your biggest supporters?

A: To my biggest supporters, I just want to say thank you because god knows I need them to keep me going.
