Single Review: 2Four Releases New Single “Concern”

Nashville native Hip-Hop singer/songwriter, 2Four, released a new single “Concern” on April 16th, 2021. This is his first release of 2021. 2Four’s story telling ability and lyricism are heavily influenced by his life experiences and emotions. 2Four tries to use his music to connect with listeners, making his songs relatable and inspiring. 

 

 “Concern” takes a classic approach on this rap/hip-hop track but adds his own modern flair to it. He has good lyrical flow, catchy choruses and a strong beat to back his vocals. 2Four’s lyrics are especially relatable to our world today, he sings about people being too absorbed in other people’s business. With social media and modern technology everyone can be on the outside looking in on others lives, 2Four is saying that people need to be less involved with other people’s lives and just worry about their own. It is a very true and important statement that I think we can all take to heart. It’s a good message that this song tells and we as listeners can see where 2Four is coming from, we get a glimpse into his experiences and emotions which is exactly what his goal of his music is.
