Release Radar (3/19/21) by NEW FIRE MUSIC

As Drake currently holds the top three spots on The Hot 100 Billboard charts, we got some additional new music and projects from a couple emerging and established artists. While the 2021 releases have been a bit on the slow side, here’s what we’re listening to from Friday’s releases.

1. KOTA The Friend – To Kill A Sunrise (Album)

KOTA locks in with legendary producer Statik Selektah. As usual, KOF is flowing on every track. The combination is definitely enjoyable. Check out ‘Sunrise’, track 9 from the project.

2. Benny The Butcher – The Plugs I Met 2 (Album)

Rapper/producer collab albums are getting more and more popular. Benny The Butcher grabs Harry Fraud for The Plugs I Met 2. 2 Chainz makes an appearance on the third track, Plug Talk.

3. 22Gz -The Blixky Tape 2

One of the founding pioneers of Brooklyn-drill, 22Gz delivers the second installment of the Blixky Tape. Listen to track 3, Jokes Up.

4. IDK -Just Like Martin

IDK drops another banger titled Just Like Martin.

5. Sinead Harnett – Last Love

R&B artist Sinead Harnett releases a nostalgic new single titled Last Love.

6. Joyce Wrice – Overgrown (Album)

Emerging artist Joyce Wrice presents her highly anticipated debut album Overgrown. The project features the song Falling In Love with Lucky Daye. The song also appeared on Lucky Daye’s last project Table For Two.

7. Guapdad 4000 – 1176 (Album)

For our third collab project of the day, Guapdad 4000 releases 1176, featuring production from !llmind.

8. Tokyo Jetz – Cancel Culture (Album)

Florida rapper Tokyo Jetz drops new album Cancel Culture, and it’s hard! Check out the third song, Been Did That.
