JFRXSHH is coming for the top.
Suiting a plethora of blood-pumping hip-hop beats with substantial wordplay about perseverance and self-growth. Additionally, the rapper doesn’t shy away from being transparent, often using life experiences to fuel his message.
“I want fans to understand that music is way more than a beat and a nice flow,” he says. “I want them to feel and see the whole creative process through the lyrics, and I want them to be inspired by them too. Even if the people listening to my craft don’t make music, I want them to elevate themselves throughout my music. I do believe that it can change some mindsets.”
Before getting involved in the music scene, JFRXSHH studied rap legends like Jay-Z, Biggie, Nas, and Lil Wayne. By the time he hit 16-years-old, JFRXSHH was ready to get out there and made his mark in hip-hop history. He finds inspiration in top-tier lyricists like J. Cole, Jay-Z, Biggie Smalls, Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, Drake, Timbaland, and Russ.
“My love for art is bigger than my love of being famous for my music. I love creating and sharing my creations with the world,” he continues. “I’m seeing the opportunity of being one of the most influential
artists out of Montreal, and I want to take it. I want to change the city when it comes to music and running business.”
Before laying his verses down, JFRXSHH lights up some incense so that his creative space radiates with positive energy. Following this, the budding mumbles the first 8 to 16 bars of the song to catch the flow. Once it becomes infectious, he keeps going. The exact process applies to creating songs, but he begins by singing the melody in his head or aloud. One musical piece he enjoyed recording is his album, Jeffery.
“It reflects who I am and where I’m going with my music career,” he explains.
The multi-faced musician also enjoyed creating the last five songs he made.
“Shoutout to Ulysses, Freddy, KM, and Omar. These producers are monsters when it comes to heavy instrumentals.”
Before we know it, JFRXSHH will soar straight up the charts. He’s already outdoing his peer, so there’s no question about his prominence.
