Coming out of Elizabeth, New Jersey, multi-platinum producer, BigBroLGND distinctively creates trap beats that bridge dark and upbeat arrangements. Thus far, he’s worked alongside well-established artists like Pop Smoke, Lil Wayne, PNB Rock, Rowdy Rebel, Fetty Wap, Fetty Luciano, Bizzy Crook, Lloyd, and Yo Gotti.
The musical wiz makes sure to implement 808 slides, hype elements, and heavy basslines between soundscapes. At the same token, he follows this message when he’s behind the production board,
“America is on fire. Streets ain’t safe. Ice up or get left in the cold. I’m documenting the times we’re living through. The music ain’t always gonna be pretty but it damn sure gonna be real.”
Case in point, BigBroLGND strives to bring all-around awareness through his beat’s styling.
“I’m just going with the flow, giving them [the artists] what they want,” he adds.
BigBroLGND started his musical journey after playing piano at 15-years-old. Following this, Rico Beats taught him how to use FL Studio, and the rest was history. He’s been curating soundscapes for a few years now.
The producer’s name revolves around his height, which is 6’4, and the verse John 3:16.
“Whenever I’m out, people just shout ‘Aye big bro’ or “Yo big bro” to get my attention, so I made it my tag. And LGND stands for Love God Never Die. Like John 3:16. We forever!” he adds.
Before hopping in the studio, the “Iced Out Audemars” co-producer likes to light a spliff and watch anime, “Sometimes I feel like Afro Samurai is about me,” he continues. His inspiration is the future and his goals.
Speaking of “Iced Out Audemars,” BigBroLGND says that working with Pop Smoke was a blast.
