What fire new music can you tell your new fans here about?
I’m so excited about the new projects I have coming out soon. I have more progressive house songs with amazing singer/songwriters and also a couple songs that are a little slower than my typical stuff but I’m really in love with them and hope my fans will be too. I also have a follow up to my song, Darkness, which has been my biggest release to date so I can’t wait for people to hear it!
What is your favorite part about the song?
For all my upcoming songs, the vocals and melodies are my favorite aspects to the overall production. The vocalists I worked with captured the mood and vibe so well which made the melodies sound even better.
What were you most meticulous about on your latest song?
For my most recent release, Heal My Heart, I spent countless hours trying to make the vocal fit in the drop of the song with everything else going on in the background. This is the most energetic part of the song with the kick drum, bass, and lead chords so it was a challenge to get everything to fit properly but I finally felt it was good enough after the last sound check in my car.
Any new collabs happening soon?
Yes I’m almost always collabing with someone on new music, especially since most of my songs include vocals. But I am constantly working on numerous projects at once like most artists so that makes things fun and exciting. Sometimes working on the same song repeatedly everyday can get a little boring so it helps when I have several going on at the same time.
Dream collab?
Working with another producer in the dance music world like Audien would be a thrill since he makes amazing and emotional music. His songs are amazing and I just feel I would learn so much from him. I have also loved Coldplay for years and even made a remix of their song ‘Fix You’ a while ago so that would truly be a dream collab.
Is there a critique you’ve gotten on your music that you worked through and it’s made the overall work better?
Sometimes I let the music in the background get too loud and overshadow the vocals so I always have to make sure that the star of the show is the vocalist and needs to be front and center.
What are you most excited about for fans to hear on your latest single?
Every part of the song! I put so much energy into each part so even though people often focus on the drop, I try to make sure every detail is captured for the listener to hear.
Give us anything else you want to know about what you’re up to?
In addition to my upcoming releases, I have also made a couple acoustic versions that I really love. The main instrument in these versions is the piano and it just gives these songs a different feel which I find really cool.
